UCW Christmas Party

The members will meet at 5pm on December 4th for a brief meeting and a potluck supper will follow at 6. UCW members are reminded to bring their Christmas Stocking donations for M&S. Members of the congregation are invited to join us at 6pm for a potluck supper and an evening of fun and fellowship. Our snow date is December 5th. If you wish to take part in the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped food item (cookies, candy, sweets, etc.)  If you have any questions, please check with a UCW member.

Two projects we are supporting include:

  • Giving Tree: Items will be delivered before Christmas to the Homeless shelters (men and women) in Fredericton shelters. Suggested items include toiletries, feminine hygiene products, soaps and lotions, nail clippers, razors, baby wipes and diapers, underwear and socks, first aid kits and warm clothes or blankets.
  • Swanhaven residents’ gifts: 15 men, 6 women. Suggested items include calendars, pens and paper, colouring books, watches, PJs, fidget quilts, etc. Please be sure items are unwrapped, unscented and contain no candy.

Donations from the congregation are much appreciated and can be left by the Giving Tree at the front of the church anytime until December 4th. Thank you!

Beer and Carols @ the LochDecember 10th, 7pm

It’s just what it sounds like. Beer and Carols and just a whole lot of fun. We’ll get together and belt out Christmas carols at the pub. It’s a great time for singing, socializing, and bringing in the Christmas season. Much of what we at St. Andrew’s are trying to do through Theology on Tap is break down the gap between church and culture by gathering in public spaces, engaging in traditional spiritual practices, and, in the process, getting to better know each other and our neighbours. All are welcome.
Call the Loch to reserve your table 366-2822.

Supper starts at 5pm. Fun all-ages activities begin at 6:15pm. Feel free to drop in any time and stay as long (or little) as you want.
